This is an exercise class that focuses on the strengthening and postnatal recovery of the Mum. The babies will hopefully watch the process from the comfort of their pram/mat /chair. The babies are not to be worn in a carrier or used as a weight during the class for safety purposes. Often the bubs really enjoy the interaction with other babies and watching other mums move..
-
Of course, attend to your baby! As fellow Mums, we completely understand that babies will cry or grumble at some point during the class. Often I’ll have a little cuddle at some point! Most babies quickly adapt to the room and enjoy coming each week. I would aim to feed and change your baby before class starts and then take every exercise you get to do as a win!

Please bring a mat for yourself and the baby, a few toys and maybe the pram or bouncy chair. Please bring some Theraband or some light weights which can be purchased very readily online, and I have a few lovely squishy mats for sale if you need to purchase one.

I run three classes.
The 9am is the advanced class. It is suitable from 6 months + and if you are symptom free. It focuses on single leg control and strength with harder weights., and abdominal loading and returning to higher-level activities such as running and jumping.
10am Intermediate class is designed to help you build core strength, improve posture, and progress on the foundations addressed in the first class. Weights become slightly heavier, repetitions increase, and there is greater loading on the pelvic floor and abdominal wall.
Suitable for anyone 4 months post birth (Vaginal and C-section). The focus is on reconnecting the abdominals and pelvic floor, and progressing toward functional strength with proper technique.
12 pm Early Postnatal class - focuses on building a foundation of core and posture and getting used to movement again.
Gentle weights are involved, and the pace is a bit slower than the other two classes.
